We process personal data only where Article 6 GDPR provides a legal basis. On this website that is mainly answering your enquiry and taking steps before a contract (Art. 6 (1) (b)), our legitimate interest in a secure and working website (Art. 6 (1) (f)), and legal obligations (Art. 6 (1) (c)).
This website is not directed at children under 14. We do not knowingly process children's data.
The website is operated on Firebase Hosting and Cloud Functions from Google. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
When you open the site, the provider processes connection data that are technically required, in particular IP address, date and time, requested address, referrer, browser and operating system. This is necessary to deliver the site and keep it secure. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
Server logs are kept for a limited period, usually up to 30 days, and are then deleted unless they are needed for longer to investigate a security incident.
We do not set cookies and we do not use analytics or marketing tracking. We do not build a usage profile.
Language and appearance are stored in your browser's local storage and stay on your device. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Where the storage is technically necessary, § 165 (3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021 (TKG 2021) also applies.
You can delete these entries in your browser. A cookie named “lpkmedia-consent” that was set earlier is no longer used. It expires on its own.
If you submit the form, we process your name, email address, message and selected language in order to reply and to send you a confirmation of receipt. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where a contract or pre-contractual steps are concerned, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
The message is sent by email to office@lpkmedia.com. An email service provider forwards it on our behalf.
To prevent abuse we check the IP address. We store only a short-lived technical marker for the time window, currently five minutes, and then delete it. We do not store the IP address itself for this purpose. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. If a hidden field is filled in, we treat the submission as automated and do not process it.
Providing these data is voluntary. Without them we cannot answer the enquiry. You can use the rest of the website without the form.
If you start the free analysis, we process the website address you enter, the phone number and the selected language. The website address is sent to a Google AI system (Gemini) so that the recommendations can be produced. We store the phone number and website address in order to match the request and contact you if needed. The IP address is checked only to limit abuse and is not stored with the request.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where the analysis is a pre-contractual step at your request, and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR for protection against abuse.
The recommendations are non-binding guidance. They are not a decision based solely on automated processing that produces legal effects or similarly significant effects within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.
A link lets you send us a WhatsApp message. You then leave this website. Transmission is subject to the processing by WhatsApp and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland. We receive the content only once you send the message.
We base our subsequent processing on Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where a contract or pre-contractual steps are concerned, otherwise on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
When a QR-code link on this website is opened, we store the time, IP address, user agent (device, browser, operating system) and, if sent, the previously visited page. This is used to see how often a code is used. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
You may object to this processing under Art. 21 GDPR. We delete the access data when the related QR code is deleted, and in any case after 24 months.
The area for authorised persons is protected with Firebase Authentication. Login data are processed in order to restrict access. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR. This area is not intended for general use of the website.
Recipients, where the relevant feature is used, are:
Google and Meta may also process data outside the European Economic Area, in particular in the United States. Where an adequacy decision applies, we rely on it; otherwise we rely on the standard contractual clauses under Art. 46 GDPR. The EU-US Data Privacy Framework may also apply to certified US companies.
We do not pass data on for advertising. We disclose data to authorities only where the law requires it.
We keep data only for as long as the purpose requires.
Where the statutory conditions are met, you have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) (Art. 21). You may withdraw consent for the future (Art. 7 (3)) where we rely on consent.
An email to office@lpkmedia.com is enough. We reply within one month. There is no legal obligation to give us data through the form or the analysis.
You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement (Art. 77 GDPR).
